Rakesh Reddy

Rakesh is a Promoter and Director at Ideal Group of Companies, a business conglomerate with interests in industrial explosives for the mining sector; textiles; transportation; plastics; warehousing and logistics; agriculture; energy; and the hospitality industry.

The Ideal Group with annual revenues of INR 1,000 Cr., has been operational for over 4 decades. It has 11 state-of-art manufacturing capacities employing over 1500 people. Being an environment conscious company, the Group has also installed windmills and solar plants both for self- consumption and as a business vertical.

Rakesh is passionate about philanthropic and charitable causes. He is a member of Rotary club of Secunderabad Sunrise since 2010 and a Trust member of Poddutur Sadanand Reddy Trust, which is involved in philanthropic activities like running old age homes, medical camps and temples.

A widely travelled personality, Rakesh holds a master’s in business management from Osmania University and a Bachelor’s in Commerce from Indian Institute of Management and Commerce under the aegis of Osmania University.
